Sprouting Up As the Year Turns

As students returned to school from the Winter Recess, I noticed that many of them grew taller, and look more matured. If there was any doubt about students remaining in an elementary school setting--it is not the case! Student learning as evidenced in report cards science fair projects... outward appearances as well. Nature was at work as well: the grass sprouted as well. With the state workers on STO (similar to a furlough), our early January grass cutting cycle was missed. Fortunately, our crew is back this week!
