Safety Reminder

Especially during this hectic time of year, we sometimes need to remember that, in addition to the people in this community on the road going to work, we have over 900 students making their way to our campus every morning.

If you drive your child to school, try to leave a little earlier than normal.  Weather changes and having more people on the road to do holiday errands can lead to traffic mishaps if we are in a rush.  Remind your child to use cross walks and to leave their cell phones in their backpacks after they are dropped off.

If your child catches the bus to school, please remind them to stay on the sidewalk and to refrain from playing around with their friends, especially with any kind of sports ball.

If your child walks to school, remind them to be aware of drivers on the road, not to use cell phones, and use cross walks.

Most of our students are very responsible, considerate, and safe.  All it takes is a token few to make our roads dangerous, however, if we all do our part, we can keep our community safe!

Mahalo for your support!

Calling All Basketball Enthusiast!

We had a tremendous turn-out to both our Boys and Girls Basketball try-outs.  Unfortunately, some students did not make the team, but we want to offer an opportunity for our children who want to continue to build skills as players and leaders.  That's why we are calling on you!  We are in need of volunteers who would like to dedicate 1-2 days of the week to host practices after school to work for a co-ed developmental team.  All interested parents or community volunteers should reach out to the SAC Tatiana Reeves at tatiana_reeves@notes.k12.hi.us.
